The Plant Museum aims to develop an "Eco rating" for different "green" products in order to analyse exactly how they measure up against each other. We aim to do this by evaluating different aspects of it: Exactly how much of the material used is re-used vs virgin? Is the material being upcycled, recycled, or downcycled? What percentage of the product is biodegradable? What are the hidden manufacturing processes that might harm the environment? and many more...
We also aim to find a way of calculating carbon emissions that would go into delivering the product to a particular Pin code.
